This is a WS2812 LED breakout board module.  This module is comprised of a 5050 LED array.  The 5050 LED array includes 3 LED diodes on a single SMD, red, green, and blue.  These three colors allow for the full color gamut depending on the intensity of the individual LED diodes.  They are used when you need slight illumination for your project area and especially RGB color changing lights. The LED can be controlled with a single set of 3-pin inputs via a WS2812 driver module.  The module includes headers for input and output so the modules can be daisy-chained.
