Description:
This is a 2S Battery Management System (BMS) protection board. This module is designed to fit on the end of a 18650 lithium ion cell. This BMS module is suitable for creating a lithium battery pack with a nominal voltage of 8.4V. This BMS board will provide over voltage/over charge protection and under voltage/over discharge protection. It also provides over current protection in case the device drawing power from your lithium ion cells is pulling too much current too quickly. This BMS protection module also provides short circuit protection. This BMS will work with most lithium ion or lithium polymer (lipo) battery chemistries, not just 18650 cells. It will not work with other battery chemistries (Lithium Phosphate, Lithium Iron, NiCd, etc.).
