The control board, based on the reliable and popular open source platform, includes a cooling fan to better dissipate the heat and maintain peak performance during the entire carving process.

Operating this CNC Router requires a computer with software that communicates directly with the machine’s control board. We recommend using Easel – a free, easy-to-use, web-based CNC software platform compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Remember, while the 3018 Pro is powerful, it is not designed for materials harder than brass or aluminum 6061. Such materials can lead to motor burnout or parts breakage.
