Description:

This is a 4S Battery Management System (BMS) protection board. This module is designed to be packaged with four 18650 lithium ion cells connected in series. This BMS module is suitable for creating a lithium battery pack with a nominal voltage of 14.8V to 16.8V. It has a maximum discharge rate of 30 AMPS. This BMS board will provide over voltage/over charge protection and under voltage/over discharge protection. It also provides over current protection in case the device drawing power from your lithium ion cells is pulling too much current. This BMS protection module also provides short circuit protection. This BMS will work with most lithium ion or lithium polymer (lipo) battery chemistries, not just 18650 cells. It will not work with other battery chemistries (Lithium Phosphate, Lithium Iron, NiCd, etc.).
